US President Donald Trump concedes that the war on Iran was partly to blame for his Republican Party's sweeping midterm losses, following comments made by Vice President JD Vance. "It drove the gasoline up a little bit short-term, and probably that's probably it's true. But at the same time, if I had it to do again, I'd have to do it again because long term, it's the only answer," he tells journalists as he shows off progress on his White House ballroom project.
