The Kennedy Center has announced its latest group of honorees as it prepares for the first time to hold its celebration off-site.
This year's honors will recognize Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet, 16-time Grammy-winning producer and composer David Foster, legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka, Country Music Hall of Fame artist Barbara Mandrell and Oscar-nominated actor Andy Garcia.
The Kennedy Center has been closed for months amid a legal battle over President Donald Trump's plans to renovate the building and add his name to it, forcing the Dec. 7 ceremony to move to Washington's Capital One Arena.
