All nine people on board a private Learjet 60 bound for the Bahamas from Austin, Texas, are dead after the plane nosedived into a South Florida neighbourhood in the afternoon on Nov. 1.
The jet erupted into a giant fireball when it crashed into a busy roadway in Palm Beach County, narrowly missing the entrance to a mobile home park.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration says it’s now looking to recover the jet’s black box and confirm the cause of the crash.
