Elon Musk could face congressional investigations after Democrats swept to victory this week.

Musk spent more than $400 million backing Republican candidates, including at least half of that to support Ken Paxton in the Texas senate race. Paxton lost to Democrat James Talarico.

Many Democrats say they plan to investigate Musk and his businesses. In particular, they want to focus on his time running the Department of Government Efficiency. The founder of SpaceX and Tesla has gotten billions of dollars worth of government contracts since Donald Trump returned to office.
