JD Vance on the Antichrist and the End Times
From Data Over Dogma.

JD Vance told a podcast that the first Bible he ever owned was John Hagee's Prophecy Study Bible, that he wouldn't be surprised if the antichrist were already walking among us, and that he's focused on "doing as much of God's work as possible right now — and if that leads to the end times, okay."
We give him credit where it's due, because he qualifies more of this than most people who talk about the eschaton. Then we get to the harder question: what does it mean when a sitting vice president describes the job as God's work and shrugs at where it might lead?
Plus, what the Catholic church he joined actually teaches about hurrying the end along, why Matthew 24 keeps showing up instead of Revelation, and why the Nepal floods became prophecy content within days.
