President Donald Trump says the White House is setting aside $25 million dollars to reward people who report fraud that results in a successful prosecution.
Trump said there are “trillions” of potential possibilities for corruption in U.S. government, and he is incentivizing people to turn others in for potential fraud.
Vice President JD Vance, who was present at the announcement, has been leading an anti-fraud task force. It’s mainly focused on investigating medicaid and social services in states led by Democratic governors.
A recent Fox news poll this week found nearly 90% of Americans surveyed were concerned about government corruption — even more than the percentage concerned about the economy.
