Top Alaska prosecutor on Senate race investigation

The top federal prosecutor in Alaska said Friday that he has not had any interaction with the White House about the ongoing criminal investigation into the state's Senate race as he's been on the case for roughly 24 hours. CNN reported Thursday that Michael Heyman recused himself because he was up for a federal judgeship, which he ultimately was not nominated for. His recusal was rescinded by DOJ leadership.
