Thousands of Serbian students and their supporters marked the two-year anniversary of a disaster that sparked protests, a political movement, and the fall of the right-wing government. Mourners laid wreaths at the site of the train station canopy collapse that killed 16 people in Novi Sad. After two years of anti-government protests, student-backed candidates known as the "Students’ List" defeated President Alexsander Vucic's government in last week's parliamentary elections. They are now demanding accountability for the disaster and a review of previous investigations into its causes.
