Russell Brand’s Interrogation Tapes Released Following Guilty Rape Verdict

A jury found Russell Brand guilty of rape. His wife, who had accompanied the actor to court in London, found herself besieged by reporters after the verdict. The 51-year-old Brand was immediately whisked away in a prison transport van. Prosecutors have called Brand a "ruthless sexual predator." Following the verdict, police released Brand's interrogation tapes, in which he refused to answer questions and insisted he only read from a prepared statement where he said he "never engages in non-consensual sexual activity."
