Mangione Lawyers File to Dismiss State Trial on Double Jeopardy

Lawyers for confessed murderer Luigi Mangione say he should not have to face a state trial in New York. Mangione pleaded guilty earlier in August to federal stalking charges as he admitted to shooting and killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione’s lawyers say a state trial would constitute double jeopardy.
