The Ford government tabled its fall economic statement this week, warning of tough financial times ahead.
The province announced it is planning to run $36 billion in deficits over the next three years, as Ontario braces for the long-term impact of the trade war with the United States. The government has set aside a contingency fund of nearly $4 billion in this year’s budget to deal with any surprises from south of the border.
