A major Chinese state-owned heavy equipment manufacturer now faces criminal charges.
Ontario police have filed criminal charges against one of XCMG's officials for allegedly tampering with serial number plates on equipment they were selling in Canada.
The company is accused of swapping out serial numbers on its machines to make them appear newer than they actually were.
As Paul Johnson reports, this is now a $21-million fraud case.
