After historic blue wave, Trump talks about his ballroom

In the wake of Democrats’ victories in the House and Senate, President Trump spoke for the first time about his ballroom project. Later, Trump said he had no regrets about his midterm messaging and strategy, saying there was much “love” at his rallies but it didn’t translate to GOP candidate success.

Republicans have started pointing fingers at who and what is to blame for the wipeout after Democrats decisively flipped control of both the House and the Senate. Trump has repeatedly made it clear he doesn’t believe he deserves blame for the poor showing, while others like Vice President JD Vance are attributing the losses directly to the Iran war — without pointing a finger at the president who started the war.
