Control of congress is at stake as voters head to the polls for midterm elections, which also stand to shape the final two years of President Donald Trump's second term.
The president's disapproval rating among registered voters ranks among his worst in either term of office. In his final campaign push, he's asked voters to pretend he's on the ballot, promised payouts tied to Republican election wins and continues to undermine the integrity of the nation's election procedures.
Ahead of Election Day, PBS News' Deema Zein sits down with Capitol Hill correspondent Lisa Desjardins and White House correspondent Liz Landers at noon EDT on Thursday, Oct. 29. They'll take a closer look at what to watch in the 2026 elections and take your questions around election security and voting rights, among other pressing midterm-related topics.
