Senegal's parliament sends a revised draft budget for 2026 back to committee, delaying a crucial step in the heavily indebted west African country's attempts to secure an IMF bailout. The text had already been rejected by the country's powerful Pastef party, which holds an overwhelming majority in parliament, making its failure to pass the National Assembly in its current form all but certain.
