Embraer, the world's third largest commercial aircraft manufacturer, has delivered its newest midsize private jet, the Praetor 600e, with Flex Jet as the launch customer. Priced around $25M, Embraer says it is the farthest flying aircraft in the super midsize category, with a range of just over 4,000 nautical miles, enough to connect London and New York nonstop, a route the company says no other jet in its class can make.
We go inside the cabin to show the Smart Window, a 42 inch 4K touchscreen built into the cabin wall that streams live feeds from external cameras, hosts video calls, and plays entertainment, which Embraer calls the first fully operational system of its kind certified for an aircraft. It also covers the redesigned interior, Flex Jet's reported $7B order for 180 aircraft, Embraer's US manufacturing base, its sustainable aviation fuel and solar power efforts, and its innovation roadmap spanning electric and hybrid propulsion, aerodynamics, and AI.
