2 Dan Sullivans of Alaska, 1 October surprise?

An October surprise has surfaced in a race that could well determine who wins the Senate majority in next week's midterm elections. The New York Times reported that Democratic operatives helped recruit a potential spoiler candidate in Alaska — the other Dan Sullivan — who qualified for the general election ballot.
